Location: East Midlands - Derby / Nottingham
Salary: Up to £65,000 p/a (dependent on experience)
Additional: c£5,000 car allowance

Are you an experienced Senior Site Manager looking for a long-term opportunity with a well-established construction contractor delivering a diverse range of projects across the East Midlands?

We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a respected construction contractor, who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their regional team, overseeing the delivery of a variety of projects across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

The business delivers a diverse portfolio of work, including public sector projects for local authorities, school construction and refurbishment schemes, commercial developments, industrial and logistics hubs, and brownfield developments. Projects are typically located within approximately one hour of the company's regional offices, providing excellent local coverage and a strong work-life balance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager looking to join an established contractor with a strong regional presence, a varied project portfolio and genuine long-term career prospects.

Key Duties:

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of construction projects.
Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Plan and coordinate site logistics, labour, materials and subcontractor activities.
Monitor programme progress and proactively identify and resolve construction, technical and operational issues.
Liaise closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, clients, consultants and design teams.
Maintain strong Health & Safety standards and ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation.
Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews.
Ensure all site records, documentation and reporting requirements are maintained accurately.
Manage and coordinate multiple trades and work packages throughout the construction process.
Provide strong leadership on site, promoting a positive culture centred around safety, quality and teamwork.
Support the wider project team with programme planning, commercial awareness and project delivery.Requirements:

SMSTS
CSCS
First Aid at Work
Relevant construction qualification/NVQ
Experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager working on public sector, local authority or live environment projects as well as experience across commercial, industrial, logistics or brownfield developments.
Strong Health & Safety awareness and site compliance knowledge.
Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues effectively.
Commercial awareness and a good understanding of project cost and programme implications.
Full UK Driving Licence.What They Offer:
