Description:
Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Senior Site Manager / Site Manager on a temporary contract for 7 months located in Guernsey.
Responsibilities
* Managing the daily construction activities on the site and ensuring smooth operation.
* Supervision of subcontractors, ensure coordination and attendances.
* Monitor progress on site
* Ensure Health & Safety practices are followed on site:
* Ensure RAMS are updated, maintained, and registered.
* Prepare and conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and standard inspections.
* Coordinate the every-day H&S on site, audit and correct operative’s behaviour.
* Action any external H&S audit comments.
Requirements
* Previous Commercial/Leisure Fit-out experience
* Previous new build/groundworks experience
* SMSTS (Essential)
* First Aid (Essential)
Benefits
* 7-month contract (Freelance OR Fixed term), possibly leading to permanent
* £250 - £300 per day + expenses
