The Senior Site Manager role
Excellent opportunity for a Senior Site Manager with a family owned, regional main contractor, based in the midlands.
As Senior Site Manager the role will work underneath a Project Manager on a £20 Million new build project in Coventry. The project has been negotiated with one their key clients and there will be opportunities for further projects with the same client.
The Senior Site Manager’s responsibilities will include:
* Health & Safety
* Overseeing Trades and Subcontractors
* Ensuring quality
* Accurate record keeping
* Chairing meetings
* Liaising with the client
* Ensuring works are progressing in accordance with the programme
The Company

They have an excellent reputation as an employer of Site Managers and all their staff. Their turnover has grown substanitally and as a consequence they are looking to strengthen their construction delivery team with an experienced Site Manager. Their workload is typically D&B projects valued at £3-20 Million across a broad range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial and industrial new build and refurbishment projects.
Required experience
A successful track of working as a Site Manager on projects of a similar size and nature is essential coupled with knowledge and experience of the midlands construction market. Ideally Site Manager candidates will be from a trade or engineering background and be able to demonstrate good continuity of employment.
