Description:

Senior Site Manager - 100 Unit Traditional Build Development

We're working with a well-established PLC housebuilder who are looking for a Senior Site Manager to take on a brand-new 100-unit traditional build development in Sussex.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership from day one. You'll be leading the project from initial site set-up through to successful completion, creating the standards, culture, and structure that will underpin the entire development.

The business has a strong reputation for delivering quality homes and is looking for a Senior Site Manager who shares that mindset. This role would suit someone who takes pride in what they build, enjoys developing people around them, and understands that quality, programme, and customer satisfaction all go hand in hand.

The Opportunity

As the lead on site, you'll be responsible for establishing the development from the outset and creating an environment where standards are maintained throughout the build process.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Lead the site from initial set-up and infrastructure stages through to final handovers
Create and implement site standards, procedures, and working practices from day one
Build, develop, and mentor junior members of the site management team
Drive programme performance whilst maintaining quality and attention to detail
Lead all NHBC inspections and ensure the development is delivered to a high standard throughout
Build strong relationships with subcontractors and ensure accountability across all trades
Create a positive, professional, and well-organised site culture
Work closely with senior leadership to ensure targets and business objectives are achieved

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within residential housebuilding
Strong traditional build experience on residential developments
Experience working for a PLC developer or high-volume housebuilder
Excellent understanding of NHBC standards and inspection processes
A strong leader who enjoys developing and supporting future talent
Ability to manage programme, quality, health & safety, and customer expectations simultaneously
Someone who leads by example and takes genuine pride in delivering quality homes

What's On Offer

Up to £80,000 basic salary
Competitive package and bonus structure
Opportunity to lead a development from inception through to completion
Long-term pipeline of work with a respected PLC housebuilder
Genuine opportunity to influence standards, culture, and team development
Supportive senior leadership team and clear career progression opportunities

This is a role for someone who wants more than simply running plots. It's an opportunity to shape a development from the very beginning, build a strong team around you, and leave a lasting impression on a project that will be enjoyed by homeowners for years to come.
