Description:
Our client are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager for a 10 week fitout project in Southampton.
As Site Manager you will be responsible for the complete workings of the site. Additionally, you will be backed up by excellent operational systems and procedures as well as tried and tested sub contractors. You will need to have strong client facing skills as the end client is in close proximity to the site.
You would have worked on similar fitout projects and hold a valid SMSTS & First Aid at Work qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all on-site activities.
* Ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and site staff.
* Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with building codes.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality control.
* Communicate effectively with the end client.
* Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently.
* Resolve on-site issues and address any delays or problems.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and guidelines.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
* Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
Start on site is Monday 24th June, and the job will run for 10 weeks for the right candidate.
