Remarkable Jobs are currently working with an established construction company, who are seeking a “Senior Site Manager” to join their team. 

The Senior Site Manager will lead a significant project. This role will work closely with internal teams, Clients, Consultants and Sub-contractors.

For this ‘Senior Site Manager’ position the successful candidate will have Project Management/Site Delivery exposure within a commercial construction environment and be responsible for ensuring the company and the client’s goals are met and supporting the team on site. The successful candidate for this position will also set as a role model and ensures high standards of personal conduct onsite support in serving all the customers design and construction needs while delivering on time, to budget.

‘Senior Site Manager’ Main Responsibilities:

Ensure all works comply to relevant specifications and drawings
Follow the method statement produced for each element within the project and oversee the work to ensure that the work is executed safely.
Organize the activity of different sub-contractors and trades
Deliver short term programmes to allow the planning, execution and monitoring of the works compared against the contract programme ensure all programmes plans, method statements and risk assessments are up to date.
Inspect the works as required, while ensuring all safety initiatives are adhered to
Produce and maintain project records
Understand each specialist sub-contractor’s order/responsibilities. Ensure works are executed safely in accordance with agreed methodology.
Produce short term programmes to allow the planning, execution and monitoring of the works compared against the contract programme ensure all programmes plans, method statements and risk assessments are up to date, understood

‘Senior Site Manager’ Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Degree educated or equivalent in a Construction or Engineering related subject.
Ideally 5+ years of Site Management experience.
Have a technical knowledge/background working on complex projects
NVQ Level 4 Site Management would be an advantage.
Membership of the CSCS scheme, SMSTS (CITB) and First Aid qualifications
Good understanding of construction methods and technology.
Strong IT skills.
