Job Opportunity: Senior Site Engineer (Freelance) in Ayrshire

About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Freelance Site Engineers ready for their next freelance opportunity with a reputable civil engineering contractor. The position is for a Senior Site Engineer on a temporary basis to support a project in Ayrshire due to increased workload.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Site Engineer, your key duties will include:

Setting out
Conducting quality checks on as-built drawings
Managing the engineering team
Ensuring safety targets and standards are maintained at all times
Handling the administration and record-keeping of Quality Assurance systems on-site
What We Offer:

Initial 5-month contract with the possibility of long-term work
Start date: June 17, 2024
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 am – 6:00 pm
Competitive pay: £280 to £330 (gross) per hour (DOE)
Flexible payment methods: PAYE or CIS
Requirements:

Proven experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in foundations, drainage, kerbing, and ducting
Essential experience with substation projects
Proficiency with Trimble equipment
Valid UK driving license and own transport
Valid CSCS Card
