Job Opportunity: Senior Site Engineer (Freelance) in Paisley
About the Role:
Contract Scotland is collaborating with a reputable, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor that specialises in industrial services, civils, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for an experienced Freelance Senior Site Engineer to join their team for a 3-month project based in Paisley.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will:
Set out for concrete works.
Check plans, drawings, and quantities for calculation accuracy.
Highlight any discrepancies with the drawings.
Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Support the Site Manager and perform any other site engineering duties as required.
Monitor progress and performance, reporting to the Site Manager.
Administer and maintain records of Quality Assurance systems on-site.
What We Offer:
Start date: June 17, 2024 for a 3 month period
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 5:00 pm
Competitive hourly rate: £28 to £30 (DOE)
Flexible payment methods: Limited Company, PAYE, or CIS
Requirements:
Minimum HNC level qualification or equivalent in civil engineering.
Flexibility and ability to work on your own initiative.
Essential previous setting out experience.
Essential civil engineering experience in a contracting environment.
Valid CSCS Card
