Description:
Are you an experienced SEO professional who enjoys having real ownership of strategy, working directly with clients and seeing your recommendations turn into commercial results?
We're looking for a Senior SEO Manager to join a growing, close-knit digital team and take the lead on SEO strategy across a varied portfolio of established eCommerce, B2B and professional services clients.
This is a hands-on senior role where you'll have the freedom to shape strategy, influence clients and work closely with developers, account managers and growth specialists to make things happen.
What you'll be doing
You'll take full ownership of your SEO accounts, from identifying opportunities and building strategic roadmaps through to implementation, reporting and client presentations.
Your role will include:
Developing and leading SEO strategies aligned to clients' commercial objectives
Managing senior client relationships and leading regular SEO meetings
Identifying opportunities across technical, on-page and content SEO
Carrying out keyword, competitor and search landscape research
Working directly with developers to prioritise and implement technical improvements
Analysing performance and delivering commercially focused reporting
Advising on SEO for website builds, migrations and launches
Supporting pitches and new business opportunities as the SEO specialist
Working with Account Managers to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
Keeping ahead of changes in search, including AI search and emerging platforms
What we're looking for
You'll have at least five years' SEO experience, ideally in an agency or similar environment where you've managed multiple clients and taken ownership of both strategy and relationships.
You'll bring:
Strong experience developing and leading SEO strategies
Proven experience managing senior client relationships
Excellent technical, on-page and content SEO knowledge
Experience managing SEO for eCommerce websites
Confidence presenting strategy, recommendations and results to clients
Strong knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console and leading SEO tools
A good understanding of website development and experience working with developers
Experience with website migrations and new website launches
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how SEO drives leads, sales and revenue
The confidence to challenge existing approaches and recommend a better way forward
A genuine interest in AI search and the changing search landscape
Experience with Magento/Adobe Commerce, WordPress or App Store Optimisation would be an advantage.
Why join?
You'll be joining a small, collaborative team where your ideas genuinely matter. You'll work closely with senior leadership and have visibility across the wider business, rather than being another cog in a large agency machine.
You'll work with a diverse mix of ambitious start-ups and established eCommerce brands across different industries and technologies, meaning no two projects are the same.
There's also a strong focus on development, with access to training and regular collaboration with an international development team.
And when the team hits its monthly and annual targets, there are socials and trips away to celebrate together
