We are looking for a Senior SEND Service Manager who is a committed, flexible and proactive team player with a positive outlook to join our team. The role is based in Ipswich. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. You will earn a competitive salary of £56,849 - £67,720 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Your Senior SEND Service Manager role:
You will lead our SEND services as a Senior SEND Service Manager, supporting the Head of SEND Services, contributing strategic vision and leadership, driving our partnership working to ensure children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs and their families receive the highest quality support through the SEND statutory process.

comprehensive knowledge of SEND legislation, policies and safeguarding practices
SEND leadership experience
proven strategic leadership experience driving sustainable improvements within children’s services
experience of multi-agency working within social care, health and education
the ability to inspire, empower and develop a high-performing team
strong financial, risk and performance management capabilities.

The Team
The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team works closely with families, schools, and other professionals to assess children's needs and develop Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
We work alongside; Special Education Services, SEND Funding and Provider Services and Educational Psychology and Therapeutic Services, Social Care and Health and we are all dedicated to helping children and young people achieve their individual outcomes.
