THIS IS A 3 MONTH POST
This is a role that requires someone with experience as a Senior SEND officer. There will be limited induction, and they will need to hit the ground running. It is a 3 month post only.
Specific responsibilities are:
Monitor statutory timescales for new assessments and annual reviews performance and compliance
Review compliance reports and trackers and follow up with team (weekly tracking of new assessments and NEETs/ceases
Monitor phase transfer completion (track progress on 2025.26 and 2026.27)
Track SEN2 and data quality issues.
Completed ECHNAs – Decision to Assess requests
Stage 1 complaints and MP Enquiries
Monitor complaints and Enquiries inbox
Specific workstreams such as co-production led by SH-S
Single Point of Contact for specific cases
Chair Decision Making GroupThe offered candidate will be expected to attend onsite to collect IT equipment and at least once per month for team meetings which would normally be a Tuesday
