We are excited to be working with an innovative, and industry leading biotechnology company, based in Oxford, in a brand new, state-of-the-art laboratory. They are recruiting for a Senior Scientist, to join their expert team, helping to lead the next stage of a business critical development in the lab.
We are seeking an experienced Scientist to work within a small team of scientists to deliver a potentially ground breaking product.
Requirements
At least 2 years postdoctoral experience or equivalent in the field of diagnostics ideally involving CNS disorders.
PhD in a biomedical discipline (e.g. molecular biology or biochemistry).
Practical experience of assay development in an industrial or product development environment.
Experience with immunoassay/ligand binding assays: ELISA, biosensor technology, LTF, aptamers.
Ability to use initiative and creativity to identify new experimental directions, developing new research methods and extending the research portfolio.
Right to work in UK.Desirable
Knowledge and hands-on experience in AD biomarker discovery, validation, and clinical translation.
Understanding of regulatory requirements for clinical diagnostics.
Proficiency in applying statistical analysis and data interpretation methods to biomarker discovery and validation studies.
Experience working with clinical samples.
