Senior Schneider BMS Engineer / Supervisor
Location: London / South East
Salary: £50,000-£70,000 DOE
Working Pattern: Home-based / flexible working with travel to customer sites

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Schneider BMS Engineer to take on a senior technical role within a growing service operations team.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will act as the technical lead for an established team of around four BMS Service Engineers, supporting their development and providing technical guidance on more complex jobs.
This is not a purely management-based position. You will remain hands-on across service, fault-finding, commissioning and small works, while taking on increased responsibility for supporting the team and helping with its continued growth.
It is an excellent opportunity for a Senior BMS Engineer who is already considered the technical go-to within their current team and is ready to take the next step towards technical and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the technical lead for the BMS service engineering team
Provide technical support and guidance to approximately four existing Service Engineers
Support the development and progression of engineers within the team
Act as the go-to Schneider specialist for complex technical issues and fault-finding
Remain hands-on across BMS service, maintenance, commissioning and small works
Diagnose and resolve complex BMS and controls issues
Support the Operations Manager with the day-to-day technical running of the service team
Assist engineers with technically challenging jobs and escalated issues
Help maintain high technical and service standards across customer sites
Support the continued growth of the service operation as major projects transition into their service phase
Work across customer sites throughout London and the South East as required
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Approximately 5-7+ years' experience within BMS / Building Controls
Strong hands-on experience with Schneider BMS systems
Good working knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure / EBO
Strong BMS service and fault-finding capability
Experience with BMS commissioning and/or small works would be advantageous
Good understanding of HVAC controls and building services
The ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Experience supporting, mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Previous supervisory or management experience is not essential.
This role could suit an experienced Senior Engineer who is ready to step up and take greater responsibility for supporting and developing a team.
