Senior Sales Executive

Due to growth, my client is seeking to appoint a Senior Sales Executive /Account Manager.

The successful candidate will plan and prioritise new business development activities to achieve business aims and sales targets for defined categories, as well as managing existing client accounts, utilising and developing strategies to maximise results and winning over challenging targets. As part of the new business development the candidate will be expected to attend a number of overseas trade shows across the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Acquisition& Growth– Understanding the 3 core products within the brand, finding advertising solutions for existing and new clients across digital and print platforms, sourcing new business from leads and Shows, renewing existing campaigns, preparing accurate sales proposals and presenting to clients, creating and managing client accounts, copy chasing, renewing campaigns for existing clients, negotiating contracts and pricing to win new business.

* Market feedback – Provide regular sales updates at team meetings

* CRM maintenance – Maintain accurate records of your business development activities on Salesforce CRM system. Ensure all documentation is complete post sales.

* Industry events- international travel to Trade Shows to drive sales and networking opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

* Self-starter, resilience to overcome objections and motivation for a long sales cycle environment, strong team player

* Experience in outbound sales, comfortable prospecting and managing a sales pipeline

* Have a drive and passion for Sales with a proven track record of strong negotiation skills, high performance, and target achievement.

* Proven experience sourcing opportunities and canvassing potential clients via cold calling

* Experience working with sales revenue targets and KPI’s

* Nice to have - industry experience within one of the following areas: b2b media sales, second language

Salary: Circa £35k+ £10K OTE
