Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Bradford
Salary: Up to £33,000 per annum
 
Our valuable client is a premier, renowned Children's Care Provider based in Bradford. They are dedicated to providing exceptional care, support, and guidance to children, promoting their overall wellbeing and development. They are now searching for an empathetic and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to strengthen their dedicated team.
 
The Role

Working alongside Manager & the Deputy Manager in Children's Residential Home.
Ensuring that the Young People receive the highest standard of support/care appropriate to their individual needs.
Providing advice, assistance, and support to Young People, always safeguarding their welfare.
Ensuring that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures
Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers, to take the lead on shift and be responsible for the events on the shift
Attending to Young Peoples practical, physical, and emotional needs and acting as an appropriate role model.
Working closely with Young People to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential.
Communicating effectively with the team of staff coming onto shift ensuring that a thorough account of your shifts events has taken place.
Completing written reports and documentation
Setting up, coordinating, and reviewing Care plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour Management Plans, Health Care Documentation, Agreements, and Incentives.

Hourly pay at £13.20 to £13.70 per hour, plus a payment of £50 per shift for every sleep in completed

Senior Residential Support Worker Requirements

Possession of a Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent
Min of 2 years’ experience in working with Children and Young People that have social and emotional difficulties or behaviour that challenges. With supervisory experience
Full UK Manual Driving Licence
Ability to work shifts and sleep in the home overnight
