Job Title: Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Salary: £34,812 per annum (rising to £35,662 after successful probation)
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Senior Residential Childcare Support Workers to join our team in Derby, East Midlands, and Walsall, West Midlands. As a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing support and care to children and young people in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include offering guidance and leadership to junior staff, implementing care plans, and promoting the well-being of the children in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to Residential Childcare Support Workers
Implement and monitor care plans
Promote the emotional and physical well-being of children and young people
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Collaborate with external agencies and professionals
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Residential Childcare Support Worker
Level 3/4 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce (advantageous)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A compassionate and caring attitude
