We are looking for a Senior Repairs Administrator to work within our Building Maintenance service. The role holder will be professional, efficient, and effective in coordinating the day-today services by the London Borough of Hackney, working within a busy service to meet tight deadlines.

You will assist the Senior Workflow Officer in the planning and programming of responsive, planned, and cyclical maintenance works to the satisfaction of clients and service users, report to the Senior Workflow Officer and will be responsible for a team of four members of staff.

You will have a thorough knowledge of repair services provided by the Building Maintenance Service and will have knowledge of the client works order system. You will also be required to assist the Senior Workflow Officer to monitor the productivity and performance of operatives and contractors.

Your written and verbal communication skills will be second to none, you will lead on meetings, have experience of working with budgets and have the ability to cost job tickets and use a trading account.

You will be required to maintain good relationships with clients, contractors, service users and staff, demonstrating partnership and best value. You will be used to working within a diverse workforce and client base and be able to maintain good working relationships with internal and external suppliers. You will be familiar with ICT systems and software to assist you in your day-to-day role such as creating reports and running the work centre. You will be required to have a good knowledge of Health and Safety issues relating to maintenance work.

Please note this role requires you to work in the office.
