Description:

Salary Range: £82,700 FTE

About the role:

Experienced regeneration manager sought for maternity leave cover, working principally on our prestigious West Hendon regeneration, representing MTVH both as joint venture partner, working alongside Barratt on strategic delivery of the scheme and as the housing association purchaser of the affordable homes.

MTVH, one of the UKs largest housing associations, developer of affordable homes and regeneration & placemaking experts are seeking a Senior Regeneration Officer with a track record including delivery of large mixed tenure housing developments within a joint venture structure to temporarily join our Regeneration Team.

The Role:

The role will be working principally on our longstanding West Hendon development. With phase 4 nearing completion, and construction starting on the 1,000+ homes in phases 5 and 6, the successful candidate will have exemplary people skills, maintaining collaborative relationships we have been building over many years with our JV partners at Barratt, London Borough of Barnet and internal colleagues.

What we need from you:

Experience of delivering large scale housing developments within JVs is essential, as this is a substantial and fast-paced development. We are an active partner in all our joint ventures; This post requires the ability to easily switch between representing MTVH in our role as JV partner and as registered provider, and the ability to make pragmatic decisions, representing the best interests of both. Depending on demand and capacity, the post may also include undertaking options appraisals for prospective new regenerations and supporting ongoing developments.

Some of the key workstreams which the successful candidate will need to be able to quickly understand and lead on include:

Understanding the legal agreements underpinning this multi-phase regeneration, and current planning and delivery status.

MTVH and JV governance processes, approvals currently in place, and reporting and monitoring against them.

Attending JV board, Local Authority monitoring meetings and key operational and delivery meetings, and working collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the project

Using Pamwin to forecast and monitor spend and programme for delivery of the affordable homes.

Working closely with internal and JV finance leads to ensure timely processing of JV member funding requests.

Working with JV commercial leads to input on tender processes and review value for money reports.

Working with MTVH and JV solicitors and governance leads to ensure the timely execution of JV contracts

Working with the Head of and Director of Regeneration to collate detail for any reports being presented to MTVH executive and board.

Working with internal and JV colleagues and consultants to develop external communications promoting the development.
