Permanent | £27,000–£30,000 + circa £50,000 OTE

Equation Recruitment is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our team.
We’re looking for a permanent consultant who knows recruitment, enjoys building genuine relationships, and wants the opportunity to build something rather than simply work another recruitment desk.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Equation Recruitment as we continue to grow. You’ll have the autonomy to develop your own client base, build strong candidate relationships and play a key role in the continued success of the business.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you’ll take ownership of the full recruitment process — from developing new business and managing client relationships through to sourcing, interviewing and placing exceptional candidates.
We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, ambitious and confident in their recruitment ability, but who also understands the importance of providing a genuinely high-quality service.
What you’ll be doing
* Developing and managing strong relationships with existing clients
* Winning new business and developing your own client portfolio
* Sourcing and engaging high-quality candidates
* Managing vacancies from initial brief through to successful placement
* Conducting candidate interviews and providing professional career advice
* Building a strong network within your specialist market
* Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts
* Developing long-term client and candidate relationships
* Taking ownership of your desk and working towards agreed targets
* Contributing to the continued growth and development of Equation Recruitment
About you
We’re looking for someone with proven recruitment experience who wants a long-term opportunity with a growing business.
You’ll ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant
* A proven track record of making placements and generating revenue
* Experience developing new business and winning clients
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A commercial and proactive approach
* Confidence speaking with clients and candidates at all levels
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own desk
* Ambition to progress and increase your earning potential
* A genuine passion for recruitment and helping people find the right opportunities
We're particularly interested in hearing from recruiters who are already operating at Senior Consultant level, but we’re also open to ambitious consultants who are ready to take that next step.
