Location: Newcastle

Hybrid: Four days in the office, one day working from home

Are you an experienced Construction or Engineering recruiter looking to step into a senior role with more ownership, impact and progression? Manpower is expanding our specialist Construction & Engineering specialism, and we're hiring a Senior Recruitment Consultant to grow and lead a high‑potential desk from Newcastle.

About the role

As a Senior Consultant, you'll take ownership of a 360 desk, supporting clients across temporary and permanent recruitment. You'll immerse yourself in your market - understanding projects, skill needs, client strategies and hiring trends - while building a strong pipeline of job‑ready talent.

Key responsibilities

Lead 360 recruitment across your Construction or Engineering market
Win new business and grow relationships across multiple client stakeholders
Become a market expert - understanding projects, skill needs and hiring trends
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of job‑ready candidates
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer
Use social media and networking to attract talent and build your brand
Provide market insight on salaries, skills and progression
Maintain high compliance standards across all activity
Plan ahead by anticipating upcoming roles and candidate availability

An experienced 360 recruiter from Construction or Engineering (essential)
