Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission + Bonus

A growing specialist executive search business is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its expanding team, supporting clients across the UK food manufacturing sector.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a recruiter with food manufacturing, FMCG or industrial recruitment experience who is looking to move beyond transactional contingency recruitment and develop a career in retained executive search.

Working alongside an experienced team of sector specialists, the successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and mentoring in executive search methodologies while building long-term relationships with senior industry leaders and decision-makers.

The Role

The successful Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for delivering retained and exclusive recruitment assignments across the food manufacturing sector, including:

Operations & Manufacturing

Technical & Quality

Engineering & Maintenance

Supply Chain & Logistics

Commercial & Sales

Category & Marketing

NPD & Innovation

HR & Finance

Senior Leadership & Board Appointments

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing executive search and retained recruitment assignments

Building and developing client relationships

Identifying and engaging high-calibre candidates

Conducting market mapping and talent intelligence projects

Supporting business development activities

Delivering a consultative and professional recruitment service

Managing recruitment processes from briefing through to offer acceptance

About You

Applicants should possess:

Previous recruitment experience

A strong understanding of food manufacturing, FMCG or industrial recruitment markets

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

A professional and consultative approach

Strong organisational and commercial awareness

The ambition to develop a career within executive search

Executive search or retained recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
