Senior React Developer

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a talented front-end developer to work on our latest, user-friendly web applications.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with the architects to define the technical architecture and requirements for the solution using a modern tech stack. You will be required to coordinate with the rest of the team that are working on different layers of the infrastructure. You must therefore be committed to work collaboratively, solving problems as a team, providing sophisticated designs and yield quality products.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

Write, test and maintain software code as according to design specifications in a quality and timely manner
Take ownership of front-end projects
Take the lead on implementing new features
Mentoring other members of the team
Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
Support testers to ensure the product is of good quality
Perform code reviews and write documentation
Any other reasonable duties as required by the business

Essential Skills and Experience:

4+ years React.js experience
Experience of full SDLC
LESS/SASS/CSS
Good understanding of web application security
Good coding fundamentals

Desirable Skills and Experience:

TypeScript
Electron
UI Design
RESTful API
Degree in computer science or another closely related subject
