Senior Quantity Surveyor

Eden Brown is working with a leading infrastructure consultancy to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major UK water sector programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile AMP8 framework, supporting the commercial delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. Working closely with client stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners, you will play a key role in maintaining commercial control, managing risk and maximising value throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of infrastructure projects from inception through to final account.
Support cost reporting, forecasting and budget management across multiple projects.
Administer contracts and manage change control processes.
Prepare, review and negotiate subcontractor packages and accounts.
Monitor project performance and provide accurate commercial reporting to senior stakeholders.
Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
Support procurement activities and supply chain management.
Ensure compliance with client procedures, governance requirements and commercial best practice.
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers and delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, water, construction or major projects environments.
Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, valuations and commercial reporting.
Experience administering NEC3 / NEC4 contracts. Pre and Post contract stages
Ability to manage subcontractor accounts and change management processes.
Excellent commercial awareness and contract administration skills.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Desirable
Experience working on water sector or AMP frameworks.
Membership of RICS or progressing towards professional accreditation.
