Senior Quantity Surveyor – European Data Centre Projects
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of major CSA packages on large-scale European data centre projects.
The role will suit someone with a strong background in groundworks, reinforced concrete, substructure and wider civils packages, with the ability to take commercial ownership of projects from procurement through to final account.
Key responsibilities will include:
Commercial management of groundworks, RC frame, concrete, drainage, piling, foundations, utilities and structural packages
Measurement and remeasurement of works
Preparation and assessment of valuations and applications
Management of variations, compensation events and change
Subcontract procurement and commercial administration
CVR reporting, forecasting and cost control
Negotiation and agreement of final accounts
Supporting project teams on contractual and commercial matters
Working under forms of contract such as NEC, JCT and/or FIDICThe ideal candidate will have strong experience within civil engineering, groundworks and reinforced concrete, ideally on major subcontract or infrastructure packages. Experience working on data centres or mission-critical projects would be advantageous but is not essential.
Candidates must be comfortable working on projects across mainland Europe and should have strong commercial, contractual and measurement capabilities
