Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential
Salary - £60,000-£80,000
Location – Belgravia/ Victoria – London
My client are a multi-discipline property and construction group delivering professional services to public and private sector developers and housebuilders. This diverse skill base enables a wide variety of activities from development viability to asset management.
My client are looking for a Qualified Quantity Surveyor or Estimator with at least 5 years’ experience to join their multi disciplined practice based in Belgravia/Victoria in London.
You must be able to produce cost plans from drawings and estimate building costs of residential projects including high rise.
Requirements
■ Production of cost plans for New Build Residential regeneration, Mix Used Projects, and experience of infrastructure projects.
■ Estimating from RIBA Stage 0 initial concepts through to RIBA Stage 7.
■ Client liaison and attending design team meetings.
■ Cost exercises for clients including Value Engineering.
■ Tendering.
■ Reviewing and analysing Main Contractors Tender submissions.
■ Client-side Valuations and certification.

Key Skills Required:
■ Experience of high-rise cladding and replacement and contractor negotiations.
■ Preparation of Cost/Benefit analysis of design options.
■ Ensuring all costs are tracked & validated.
■ Supporting clients by producing accurate and competitive cost estimates.
■ Cost comparison and main contractor selection.
■ Heading as PM on initial stages 0-2.
■ Cost control and preparation of periodic financial reconciliations, reports and forecasts.
■ Deal with correspondence in relation to commercial and contractual issues.
■ Understanding of JCT Design & Build Contracts and PCSA Agreements
■ Negotiation with Contractors.
■ Management of support provided by colleagues
