Senior Quantity Surveyor
Up to £70,000 + £8,000 Car Allowance | Hybrid Working | Plymouth / Cornwall
Major projects. Long-term AMP8 work. A strong package without needing to be on the road five days a week.
A leading UK Civil Engineering contractor is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of key projects across the South West Water AMP8 framework.
Plymouth is an ideal base. Projects are predominantly across Cornwall, with hybrid working and typically just one day per month in Exeter.
The Role

You'll be responsible for:
Commercial management of multiple infrastructure projects.
NEC contracts, risk and opportunity management.
CVRs, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting.
Variations, subcontract procurement and final accounts.
Commercial negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Supporting and developing junior members of the commercial team. What You'll Need
You'll be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
You'll need strong NEC knowledge, solid commercial and financial management skills, and the confidence to take ownership of projects and make commercially sound decisions.
The Package
There's plenty on offer beyond the basic salary:
Salary up to £70,000
£8,000 car allowance or EV company vehicle
Strong company pension
Healthcare
26 days' holiday + bank holidays
Hybrid working
Long-term South West Water AMP8 workload
