Senior Quantity Surveyor – Water Industry
Location: North West – Hybrid Working
Salary: £65,000–£68,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance

The Opportunity
Adepto Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading consulting and engineering organisation, supporting major long-term water infrastructure frameworks across the North West.
This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role in the commercial delivery of multi-million-pound capital projects, with responsibility for cost management, procurement, contractual matters and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial management and cost control across water infrastructure projects.
*
Prepare and review cost estimates, cost plans and financial forecasts.
*
Manage procurement, tendering, contract negotiations and supplier relationships.
*
Administer contracts, including payments, variations, claims and commercial disputes.
*
Monitor project expenditure, identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain accurate financial reporting.
*
Manage commercial risks and support contracting strategy across programme interfaces.
*
Build effective relationships with clients, project teams and supply chain partners.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
*
Experience in water, utilities or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
*
Strong knowledge of commercial management, procurement, cost control and contract administration.
*
Relevant bachelor's degree.
*
Full, valid driving licence.
*
RICS, ICES or equivalent chartership, or working towards professional accreditation, is advantageous.
