Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Procurement Focus)

Location: County Durham

Day Rate: £500 per day inside IR35

Contract Length: 6 months

The Company

Our longstanding main contractor client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their excellent team immediately, focusing on procurement for this key transport project in County Durham. With a front and centre presence in the infrastructure space, when you call me to discuss this role, you’ll recognise their name instantly!

The Project and Your Role

This civil engineering project will establish County Durham as a central transport hub to the East Coast Mainline, giving commuters a much-needed link to the Northeast and the wider UK infrastructure to promote economic growth in the region. You will focus on the key function of procurement within civils, ensuring there is a constant supply of materials and suppliers for the entirety of the project.

Your Experience

You will be a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering background as well as strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Previous experience managing procurement within a civil engineering project is essential.
