Exciting Opportunity Alert!!! Senior Quantity Surveyor Needed for Prestigious School Projects in Hayes Area!

Are you ready to take the helm of a £50 million project that promises innovation, growth, and professional excellence? Our esteemed client is seeking a dynamic Senior Quantity Surveyor to spearhead their transformative school projects in the vibrant Hayes area.

Job Purpose and Scope:

You will be responsible for maximising the commercial Results/Cash position of projects in terms of delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Assist with the management of the procurement of Sub-contractors, and their financial & contractual management. Support the preparing and agreeing Interim Valuations with the Client & for progressing the agreement of Variations as the work proceeds utilising company tools. Collaborating with the Project Manager and other members of the Project team.

Essential

* Residential/School sector experience

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor

* Preparing timely monthly financial reports which accurately forecast net margin & activity utilising the company tools, procedures & rules

* Good commercial awareness

* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work

* Demonstrate a solid understand/management of company reporting timetables, as well as key tools & procedures

Accountabilities and key tasks:

* Post-contract financial forecasting financial reporting & control

* Design management and value engineering

* Sub-contract & consultant procurement

* Sub-contract & consultant management

* Client account management

* Management of graduate and assistant surveyors
