Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Wiltshire or Lincolnshire

Sector: Client-Side Construction & Property Development

Salary: £80,000 – £85,000 + Package

The Opportunity

A rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing internal construction team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, industrial and commercial sectors.

This role offers the chance to provide senior commercial leadership across multiple concurrent developments, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments, fit-outs and associated infrastructure works. Acting as a trusted commercial partner to senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and in line with long-term business objectives.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

* Leading commercial strategy across multiple live projects.

* Providing commercial advice and support to senior stakeholders.

* Managing procurement strategy and contract selection.

* Preparing, reviewing and maintaining project budgets and cost plans.

* Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.

* Negotiating contracts, supplier agreements and commercial terms.

* Monitoring project costs, risks and financial performance.

* Producing senior-level cost, risk and value reporting.

* Supporting capital investment planning and future development projects.

* Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and construction governance requirements.

About You

* Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.

* Strong background managing multiple projects simultaneously.

* Excellent commercial, contractual and procurement knowledge.

* Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

* Advanced understanding of cost control, forecasting and risk management.

* Experience administering and negotiating JCT contracts.

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar.

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between projects.

* Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
