You'll also have the opportunity to help shape the next generation of the commercial team, supporting and mentoring junior colleagues as the business continues to grow.

Ideally, you'll bring:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Main contractor experience, ideally within residential, care or healthcare
Strong experience working on design & build projects and JCT contracts
A proven track record managing subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts
Strong commercial negotiation skills
The confidence to deal directly with clients and senior stakeholders
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work autonomously
The personality to thrive within a smaller, family-run contractor where your contribution will be noticed
MRICS status would be advantageous, but isn't essential
A full UK driving licence What's in it for you?
£60,000 – £80,000 basic salary, depending on experience
Car allowance or company car
Pension and holiday package
A direct reporting line to the Commercial Director
Genuine autonomy and influence over your projects
The opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of commercially interesting schemes
A stable, family-owned contractor with a strong forward pipeline
The chance to join a business where good people are trusted, valued and given room to progress Interested? If you're looking for a senior commercial position where you can take ownership, influence decisions and play a genuine part in the continued growth of an established contractor, this could be a great next move.
