Senior Quantity Surveyor Key Essentials:

* Reporting to the Commercial Director, as Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial delivery of capital utility projects under NEC form of contract

* Preparing and submitting CVRs whilst ensuring the timely agreement of project changes to minimise WIP, maximise cash flow and ensure payments are received within agreed timescales

* Managing and capturing all project variations and ensuring full commercial entitlement is achieved

* Producing and maintaining accurate cash flow forecasts, reporting on variances and providing commercial insight

* Helping to ensure business targets are exceeded by identifying commercial risks and resolving issues at the earliest opportunity

* Ensuring commercial and administrative systems, budgets and cost control procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle

* Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring contractual obligations are fully administered

* Helping to lead and support a commercial team, providing guidance and mentoring where required

Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on utility capital projects

* Ideally professionally qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or possess equivalent industry experience

* Strong knowledge of schedules of rates, CVRs, cost control, commercial reporting and project forecasting on NEC contracts
