Conrad Consulting is working with a leading professional services consultancy to recruit an Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major aviation programme in West Sussex.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, gaining exposure to major aviation projects across airfield, civil engineering, commercial and sustainability workstreams.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you will support the commercial management and successful delivery of major projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting cost management and commercial reporting.
Assisting with procurement and contract administration.
Monitoring project costs, change and commercial performance.
Supporting the management of variations and commercial risks.
Preparing cost reports and forecasts.
Working with project teams, contractors and client stakeholders.
Supporting projects from early design through to delivery.
Providing commercial support and advice to the wider project team.
About You
We are looking for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor with:
Relevant quantity surveying experience, ideally within a major project environment.
A degree or relevant professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, civils or another relevant sector.
Good understanding of cost management and contract administration.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
The ambition to develop within a leading consultancy environment.
Aviation experience would be advantageous, although candidates with strong major infrastructure or civil engineering experience will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a client interview and approval process
