Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways & Civils
 
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major highways and civil engineering project in Coventry.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in highways, civils and major infrastructure projects.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for the commercial management of significant civils packages, overseeing approximately £20m of works over the next 18 months as part of a wider £150m-£200m infrastructure project.

You will play a key role in managing commercial performance, subcontractors and contractual obligations, working closely with the wider project team.
 
Key Responsibilities
·Commercial management of major highways and civils packages
·Managing and administering NEC contracts
·Subcontract management and commercial reporting
·Cost control, forecasting and change management
·Managing valuations, applications and final accounts
·Supporting the successful commercial delivery of civils packages
·Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
·Working closely with project teams and key stakeholders
 
Key Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
·Proven Quantity Surveying experience within highways
·Strong civil engineering / infrastructure background
·Experience working under NEC contracts
·Strong subcontract management experience
·Experience managing significant civils packages
·Strong commercial and cost management skills
·Experience working on major infrastructure projects
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
