Senior Quantity Surveyor
About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of a leading UK developer in their remediation division who have a strong pipeline of work. The sites are predominately across East London with approximately 72 that are currently active. You will be supporting the procurement and cost management of internal works which typically includes internal compartmentation, fire stopping, communal dire doors and flat entrance doors.
You will be office based with site visits.
Key Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor
Include but not limited to;
Lead the commercial delivery of multiple remediation projects
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts and cost plans
Produce CVR's
Procure specialist remediation subcontractors such as cladding, fire stopping, facades and passive fire protection installers
Prepare tender documentation
Manage variations
Negotiate claims and resolve commercial disputes
Produce accurate monthly financial reports
Identify commercial and contractual risks
Key Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in their career or a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a change who has strong experience in procuring and managing facade or cladding packages, and able to manage procurement end-to-end. You will be self-motivated and experienced in handling commercial responsibilities on similar projects.
