Key responsibilities include:

Planned maintenance programmes: Manage commercial activity across kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofing, external works and wider component replacement schemes within social housing.

Financial reporting and cost control: Monitor project expenditure, track work in progress, manage budgets and produce accurate commercial reports across multiple workstreams.

Client and stakeholder management: Build effective relationships with the client, operational teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, supporting the successful delivery of the programme.

Programme and package management: Coordinate multiple work packages, manage variations and identify commercial risks and opportunities, with exposure to larger refurbishment, high-rise and fire-safety-related projects where required.

Skills / Qualifications

To be successful in this Senior Quantity Surveyor / Project Surveyor position, you will ideally demonstrate:

Property Services experience: A proven background in social housing, planned maintenance, housing refurbishment or a similar property maintenance environment.

Planned works knowledge: Experience delivering or commercially managing programmes involving kitchens and bathrooms, roofing, windows, doors, component replacement or similar housing improvement works.

Strong commercial capability: A solid understanding of cost control, valuations, variations, subcontractor management, financial reporting and commercial performance.

Experience managing multiple workstreams: Confidence handling high volumes of work, detailed data and reporting requirements, while maintaining commercial control across several packages or programmes.

The right level of experience: An established Project Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, or an experienced Quantity Surveyor who can demonstrate they are genuinely ready to step up into a project-level role.
