Your duties and responsibilities will be:
Manage cost planning, forecasting, and reporting for major civil engineering work packages.
Administer NEC contracts, ensuring compliance and effective change control.
Prepare and review valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks, supporting dispute resolution where necessary.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate financial performance tracking.
Support procurement and subcontractor management processes.
Maintain robust commercial governance and audit compliance.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS on major infrastructure projects (£50m+).
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and UK construction law.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
It’s great if you also have the following
Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors.
Familiarity with cost management software and digital reporting tools.
Background in dispute resolution and claims management.
The setting for the role
You will work on-site within a highly secure and regulated environment, collaborating with commercial, construction, and supply chain teams to deliver one of the UK’s most significant nuclear infrastructure programmes.
