£550/day Umbrella
Initial 3-month contract - long-term extension likely
Hybrid 3 days in office, 2 from home
Grays, Essex
Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a major package on the Lower Thames Crossing.
The role
Manage commercial delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure work packages.
Prepare CVRs, forecasts, cost reports, applications for payment and cash flow.
Administer NEC contracts, including early warnings, compensation events, notices and change control.
Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
Provide commercial support to operational and project-delivery teams.
Identify commercial risk, opportunity and cost-recovery actions.
Requirements
Senior QS experience on major highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong NEC3/NEC4 and subcontract-management experience.
Proven CVR, forecasting, change-control and final-account capability.
CEMAR or similar NEC contract-management system experience desirable.
Degree qualified or equivalent relevant commercial experience.
