Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering & Groundworks
East Midlands | Permanent | Excellent Salary + Car Allowance + Bonus

We're working with a well-established regional civils and groundworks contractor that's built an excellent reputation across the East Midlands. With a healthy pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they're looking to bring in an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.

The Role
You'll be responsible for the commercial management of multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Projects include:
* Groundworks packages
* Roads & infrastructure
* Bulk earthworks
* RC works
* Industrial & commercial developments
* Residential infrastructure
You'll Be Responsible For
* Managing project costs and commercial performance
* Subcontract procurement and account management
* Valuations, applications and final accounts
* Cost reporting and forecasting
* Managing change, variations and contractual issues
* Building strong relationships with clients, site teams and subcontractors
* Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where appropriate
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or groundworks
* Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
* Experience managing projects from start to finish
* Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Full UK Driving Licence
