Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Diss. This is a key role within the Quality team, supporting the QMS and helping drive quality and continuous improvement across the business.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Pay: Competitive salary (negotiable based on the successful candidates experience)
Contract: Permanent
The ideal candidate will have previous quality engineering, assurance or systems knowledge within a manufacturing environment. Experience within medical devices or another regulated industry would be highly beneficial.
Duties include: -
Supporting and improving the company's QMS
Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits
Investigating customer complaints and managing CAPA activities
Carrying out root cause analysis and corrective actions
Supporting calibration, metrology and inspection activities
Assisting with risk management
Supporting process validation and new product introductions
Producing reports and monitoring KPIs
Working closely with engineering, operations and other teams to drive continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a quality department within manufacturing
Good understanding of QMS
Exposure with audits, CAPA and root cause analysis
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Confident reading engineering drawings and technical specifications
Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience:
Medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience
Knowledge of ISO 13485 / ISO 14971
Internal Auditor qualification
FMEA & validation
Metrology
Project leadership
