Description:
How you'll make an impact:
• Prepare functional design specifications and project scope documents
• Prepare protection designs for production and manufacturing
• Protection product selection, IED configurations, and protection IEC61850 engineering
• Developing new protection solutions encompassing the full development cycle control (concept design to delivery)
• Type registration and product approval – combining engineering and documentation
• Provide technical support during the pre-FAT and FAT stages, handling installation and commissioning activities
• Assist in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of billsof materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.)
• Commercial awareness and support project management in issuing claims (new/change in scopeof work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.) Your Background:
• 5+ years within the electrical engineering sector, particularly the grid automation sector
• Strong foundation in transmission of transmission (within the energy sector)
• HND or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Membership (or working towards membership) of a relevant professional body, eg, CEng
• Strong design capability and experience in the engineering discipline of Power Systems.
• Project coordination and operates well within a team
• Fluent in both spoken and written English, and good communication skills
