I'm currently working with a well-established, highly regarded construction consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Project Surveyor to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high-profile commercial projects, including new build developments, major refurbishments, and Category A & Category B office fit-outs for leading developers, investors, and occupiers.
The Role
As a Senior Project Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering a full range of quantity surveying and cost management services from project inception through to completion. You'll take ownership of projects, build lasting client relationships, and play a key role in delivering exceptional commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing full pre and post-contract quantity surveying services.
* Cost planning, estimating and budget management.
* Managing procurement and tender processes.
* Contract administration, valuations and payment certification.
* Final account negotiations and project close-out.
* Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
* Managing multiple commercial office projects across London.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* MRICS status or be working towards chartership.
* Previous consultancy/PQS experience.
* Strong experience delivering commercial office projects, including refurbishment and CAT A/CAT B fit-out schemes.
* Excellent communication skills with a confident, client-facing approach.
* The ability to manage projects independently while working collaboratively within a team.
