The Company
My client is a dynamic and specialist interior fit-out contractor operating in a variety of sectors ranging from leisure & hospitality, high end commercial office, hotel, luxury residential, museum, heritage and art sector, working on landmark prestigious project throughout the UK and Overseas.
The Senior Project Manager Role:
They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to take complete responsibility from projects from cradle to grave, picking up from the sales team, defining strategy, working on the pre-construction and then working in tandem with the delivery team ensuring the project is completed and handed over to the clients satisfaction.
To reiterate what sets this role apart from other traditional Project Manager roles, is they want some who can genuinely deliver projects from tender through to completion.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Include:
* Develop and maintain close relationships with external professionals, clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers to continuously improve the customer experience.
* Provide input into bids and pre-qualification proposals and represent the Company at Client presentations.
* Point of contact with the client on all project matters.
* Overall responsibility for delivery and quality in line with customer and company expectations.
* Ensure the buildability of the project.
* Responsible for the master programme and forecasting.
* Understand the status of the project at all times and escalate any significant delivery risks.
* Dispute resolution on site.
* Ensures timely and accurate reporting internally and to the client.
The Successful Project Manager:
* Track record of successful projects of high end residential projects in the London market place.
* In-depth knowledge of the construction process including both new build and fit-out / refurbishment
* Understands the pre-construction process
* Can organise and manage the design phase of a project
* Able to collate information from his team to prepare and present the project report.
* Understanding of how to comply with a H&S policy and H&S management system
