Senior Project Manager – Design & Build Refurbishment / Cut & Carve Projects
£85,000 - £95,000 + Comprehensive Package
An established and highly respected Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team delivering complex refurbishment, cut & carve and design & build projects across London and the Home Counties.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially secure contractor with a strong reputation for quality delivery, long-standing client relationships and exceptional staff retention. The business operates from two regional offices and delivers projects across a diverse range of sectors.
The Role
You will take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality and client expectations are successfully achieved.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing projects from design development through to handover
* Leading and overseeing pre-construction activities
* Managing design teams and consultant coordination
* Procurement of subcontract packages and supply chain management
* Commercial awareness and collaboration with commercial teams
* Managing site teams and subcontractors throughout delivery
* Client-facing project leadership
* Programme management, risk mitigation and reporting
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within a Main Contractor environment
* Strong background delivering refurbishment, structural alteration, cut & carve and design & build projects
* Excellent understanding of procurement and commercial processes
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders through all project phases
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Stable career history demonstrating progression and successful project delivery
