Senior Project Manager, London
Client Side – Hotels & Residential Construction
Pillar Partnership are currently partnered with a leading hospitality/residential developer and manager in their search for a Project Manager to help deliver a pipeline of c£800m worth of projects across the UK. This is a “client-side” opportunity to join a well-reputed business during an exciting phase of substantial growth.
If you're currently working for a construction consulting firm but have always wanted to make the move "client-side", this could be the job for you!
Based in London but with weekly/fortnightly travel to other regions, the Project Manager will be expected to manage developments from inception through to project completion alone. You will engage with internal stakeholders and external consultants but be involved in all parts of the development process including site acquisition, planning process, entering contract negotiations, delivering on site, etc.
Ideally, you will have the following experience:
* At least 5 years+ experience as a Project Manager within a consulting or client-side environment.
* Capable of delivering large scale development schemes with minimal support (i.e. £100m+).
* Experience in hotels or residential construction projects advantageous.
* Relevant engineering/construction degree desirable.
* MRICS and MAPM would be advantageous but not essential.
* Enthusiastic, positive individual who is keen to learn and continue to develop.
* Eligible to work within the UK.
In return, our client is offering a basic salary of between £75,000 and £90,000 per annum plus car/travel allowance, pension, health insurance and a bonus worth between 15%-30% per annum (increases with seniority). This client adopts a mature approach to hybrid working and you can expect to be in the London office 2/3 days per week.
