Senior Project Manager Requirements
To be successful as a Senior Project Manager, you will have:
* Degree qualification in a relevant subject
* Chartered Engineer or Project Management qualification (or equivalent)
* Extensive rail industry experience with proven track record of successful project delivery
* Proven proposal writing and tender experience
* Demonstrable business development or client generation capabilities
* Experience in bid and tender development, strategic feasibility studies
* Strong understanding of NEC contract experience
* Experience in regulated transport and built infrastructure sectors
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
* Eligible to work in the UK

Senior Project Manager Key Responsibilities
Lead the management of rail and transport infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. Develop and prepare tender proposals and feasibility studies. Identify and pursue business development opportunities to grow the client portfolio. Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycle. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality delivery. Prepare and present project reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Manage project teams and coordinate with internal and external partners. Ensure compliance with project procedures, NEC contracts, and regulatory requirements. Support the development of strategic initiatives and business growth opportunities.
