Our work matters to millions. It’ll matter to you too. Join our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Site Based Senior Project Manager on the Operational Team based on the beautiful Isle of Skye and you’ll be a big part of fascinating, complex, varied and meaningful work.

As a Senior Project Manager your role will be able to,

Plan, manage and deliver the Project /Projects you are aligned to.

Deliver the Power T&D business strategy and objectives on your tenders and outperform on key success measures

Manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets

Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for each project/tender.

What you'll be doing

To make a real impact as a Senior Project Manager with us, you’ll need:

Project delivery experience to make sure we meet high quality and safety standards

Will preferably have experience in Power/ Utilities within large infrastructure projects

Strong communication skills to manage, mentor and empower your team

The confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders

Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects in budget

To understand standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

Experience of Management and Delivery of high value civils projects

Proven track record in tendering and managing complex projects, including sub-contractors

Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and Financial control

Be able to lead, manage and develop a team of Project Managers.
