The role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Data Centre Operations team based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to data centre infrastructure projects with expertise in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems. While the role reports to the Director (Europe) it also requires close collaboration with the Singapore team, adherence to the group procurement policies for seamless project execution and delivery.
This will be a very process driven role, within an exceptionally high volume and output environment. Due to the nature of the business and the investment coming from Singapore, there is a stringent tender and procurement process to follow and requires an astute and tenacious PM to get projects off the ground.
Currently circa 240 projects in process with a total value of £170billion. This role will be exciting, fast-paced and provide exceptional exposure to all aspects of the Data Centre market including Investment, Landlord and Tenant, Service Provision and Operations.

Could this be for you?

5-8 years of experience in project management (Major projects), with a focus on procurement and M&E systems in Data Centre or Critical Infrastructure projects. With sound knowledge on all aspects including electrical distribution, cooling systems, UPS, generators, and fire suppression systems.
Proven track record in managing procurement activities for complex projects, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost optimization opportunities and drive efficiencies.
Professional certifications such as PMP or CIPS are a plus.
