Description:

A highly regarded property and construction consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its expanding Manchester team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded project management professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial real estate sector. Working alongside an established leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering complex developments while contributing to the continued growth of the Manchester office and wider North West presence.

The role offers exposure to a varied project pipeline, including commercial office fit-outs, industrial and logistics developments, residential schemes, façade remediation programmes, laboratory environments, retail projects, and high-specification amenity space refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities

Managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery against programme, budget, and quality objectives.

Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Leading project meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.

Preparing project programmes, reports, procurement strategies, and tender documentation.

Managing project risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Monitoring project performance and providing regular updates to clients.

Supporting business development activities and helping to strengthen existing client relationships.

Identifying opportunities for repeat business and service expansion.

Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior team members.

Supporting the continued growth and success of the Manchester project management team.

Project Sectors

Commercial office developments and fit-outs (Cat A & Cat B)

Industrial and logistics facilities

Residential and mixed-use developments

High-rise building remediation and façade improvement programmes

Laboratory and life sciences environments

Retail developments and refurbishments

Hospitality and leisure projects

High-end amenity and workplace enhancement schemes

Requirements

Degree qualified in a construction, property, engineering, or project management-related discipline.

Proven experience delivering projects within a consultancy or client-side environment.

Strong experience across new-build, refurbishment, fit-out, and redevelopment projects.

Knowledge of commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use sectors.

Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, APM, or working towards chartered status is desirable.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Knowledge of the North West property and construction market would be advantageous.

Full UK driving licence.
