Senior Project Engineer (Hybrid Role)
Location: Snodland, Kent
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week) with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote
Contract: Permanent
About the Role
Are you a skilled Senior Project Engineer ready for your next challenge? Join our team and play a key role in a highly anticipated project in the South East. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the office only twice a week!
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage the Civil Engineering Team, ensuring resource allocation and quality control.
* Review and ensure project scopes meet required outputs and standards.
* Provide technical solutions and support on complex project elements.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for project approvals.
* Conduct site visits for audits and contractor guidance.
* Collaborate with Project Managers on delivery dates and cost analysis.
* Mentor Graduate Civil Engineers and promote Continuous Professional Development.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and CDM2015 regulations.
* Would consider candidates from the following disciplines: Water, Highway, Ports, and Rail
Requirements
* HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Chartered status with a relevant institution (ICE or APM) or working towards it.
* Extensive experience in delivering large civil engineering projects.
* Knowledge of Civil Engineering standards and practices.
* Water industry experience preferred, particularly in clean and dirty water installations.
* Understanding of NEC contracts and CDM 2015 regulations.
